Product Overview

The MSP430FR2633IRHBT is a mixed signal microcontroller in 32 pin VQFN package. This FRAM based ultra low power MSP microcontroller features CapTIvate touch technology for buttons, sliders, wheels (BSW) & proximity applications. The CapTIvate technology provides highest resolution capacitive touch solution in market with high reliability, noise immunity at lowest power and supports concurrent self capacitance, mutual capacitance electrodes on the same design for maximum flexibility. The architecture, combined with extensive low power modes, is optimized to achieve extended battery life in portable measurement applications. The MCU features a powerful 16bit RISC CPU, 16bit registers and constant generators that contribute to maximum code efficiency. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) allows MCU to wake up from low power modes to active mode typically in less than 10µs. It is used in thermostats, electronic access control, lighting control, electronic door locks & white go
  • Embedded MCU with clock supports frequencies up to 16MHz, supply voltage range from 1.8V to 3.6V
  • LPM3.5 real time clock counter with 32768Hz crystal of 770nA (typ), shutdown (LPM4.5) of 15nA (typ)
  • 10^15 write cycle endurance, radiation resistant and nonmagnetic
  • High FRAM to SRAM ratio, up to 4:1
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, on-chip 32KHz RC oscillator, 16MHz DCO with FLL
  • Up to 15.5KB of nonvolatile memory, built-in error correction code & configurable write protection
  • 2 enhanced universal serial communication interfaces (eUSCI_A) support 2 UART, IrDA and 1 SPI
  • One eUSCI (eUSCI_B) supports SPI and I2C
  • 8-channel 10bit ADC, internal 1.5V reference, 200Ksps sample and hold
  • 19 GPIOs, 15360bytes + 512bytes (program fram + information fram) & 4096bytes SRAM
