Product Overview
LTC1597 is pin compatible parallel input multiplying current output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) that operate from a single 5V supply. True 16- bit 4-quadrant multiplication is achieved with on-chip 4-quadrant multiplication resistors. Typical applications are process control and industrial automation, direct digital waveform generation, software-controlled gain adjustment, automatic test equipment.
- True 16-bit performance over industrial temperature range
- INL is ±2LSB (TA = 25°C), DNL is ±1LSB (TA = 25°C)
- Asynchronous clear pin reset to zero scale
- Low power consumption of 10µW typical
- Power-on reset
- 28-lead plastic SSOP package
- 0°C to 70°C temperature range
- Internal deglitcher circuit that reduces the glitch impulse to less than 2nV-s (typical)
- Power supply rejection ratio is ±2LSB/V (VCC = 5V ±10)
- Supply current of 10µA (digital Inputs = 0V or VCC)
