9842 is a multi conductor low capacitance computer cable for EIA RS485 applications. This cable is approved by UL standard.
- CPR: not yet qualified
- Two twisted pairs, 24AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors
- Polyethylene insulation, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer jacket
- Overall Beldfoil (100% coverage) and tinned copper braid shield (90% coverage)
- Operating temperature range from -30°C to 80°C
- Overall nominal diameter is 8.636mm, maximum length available 152M
- Nominal characteristic impedance of 120 ohm
- Nominal conductor DC resistance (DCR) of 78.744ohm/Km at 20°C
- Maximum operating voltage of 300Vrms (according to UL)
- Maximum recommended current of 2.1A per conductor at 25°C
