Product Overview
The SN65HVD230D is a CAN (Controller Area Network) transceiver with standby mode in 8 pin SOIC package. This CAN transceiver meets specifications of ISO 11898-2 high speed CAN physical layer standard (transceiver). The SN65HVD230D is designed for data rates up to 1Mbps and includes many protection features providing devices and CAN network robustness. It is designed for use with Texas Instruments 3.3V µPs, MCUs and DSPs with CAN controllers or with equivalent protocol controller devices. The device is intended for use in applications employing CAN serial communication physical layer in accordance with ISO 11898 standards. Designed for operation in especially harsh environments. The SN65HVD230D features cross wire protection, thermal shutdown protection, overtemperature protection, wide common mode range of operation, loss of ground and overvoltage protection.
