Product Overview
74LCX540FT(AJ) is a CMOS digital silicon monolithic IC. It is a high-performance CMOS octal bus buffer. It is designed for use in 3.3V systems, it achieves high-speed operation while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. This device is designed for low-voltage (3.3V) VCC applications, but it could be used to interface to 5V supply environment for both inputs and outputs. It is an inverting 3-state buffer having two active-low output enables. When either active-low OE1 or active-low OE2 are high, the terminal outputs are in the high-impedance state. This device is designed to be used with 3-state memory address drivers, etc. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge. It is pin and function compatible with the 74 series (74LVC/ALVC/ etc.) 540 type.
- Low-voltage octal bus buffer (inverted) with 5V tolerant inputs and outputs
- Power-down protection provided on all inputs and outputs
- Output current IOH/IOL is 24mA (min) (VCC = 3.0 to 3.6V)
- Wide operating voltage range from 1.65V to 3.6V
- Input leakage current is ±5µA max at (VIN = 0 to 5.5V, 1.65 to 3.6V, Ta = -40°C to 85°C)
- Quiescent supply current is 500µA max at (VIH = VCC - 0.6V, 2.7 to 3.6V, Ta = -40°C to 85°C)
- Propagation delay time is 6.5ns max at (3.3 ±0.3V, Ta = -40°C to 85°C)
- Quiet output maximum dynamic VOL is 0.8V typ at (VIH = 3.3V, VIL = 0V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
