Product Overview
AD5315ARMZ-REEL7 is a quad, 10bit buffered voltage output DAC that operates from a single 2.5V to 5.5V supply, consuming 500μA at 3V. The outputs of the DAC can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit, which ensures that the DAC outputs power upto 0V and remains there until a valid write takes place to the device. There is also a software clear function to reset all input and DAC registers to 0V. The part contains a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the devices to 200nA at 5V (80nA at 3V). The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited for portable battery-operated equipment. It is used in applications such as portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, programmable attenuators, and industrial process control.

- Major-code transition glitch energy is 12nV-s typical at (1LSB change around major carry)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, 10-lead MSOP package
