Product Overview
AD603 is a low noise, voltage-controlled amplifier for use in RF and IF AGC systems. The differential gain control interface allows the use of either differential or single-ended positive or negative control voltages. Several of these amplifiers may be cascaded and their gain control gains offset to optimize the system SNR. It is suitable for use in RF/IF AGC amplifiers, video gain controls, A/D range extensions and signal measurements applications.

- Linear-in-dB gain control
- 90MHz typ -3dB bandwidth at VOUT = 100mV rms
- 275V/µs typ slew rate at RL ≥ 500 ohm
- Total harmonic distortion is -60dBc typ at f = 10MHz, VOUT = 1V rms
- 80dB/µs response rate at full 40dB gain change
- 12.5mA quiescent current
- 40dB/V gain scaling factor at 100KHz
- 8 lead NSOIC package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
