Product Information
Product Overview
AD76861 is a 16-bit, charge redistribution, successive approximation, analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 5 V power supply, VDD. It contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC with no missing codes, an internal conversion clock and a versatile serial interface port. The part also contains a low noise, wide bandwidth, short aperture delay track-and-hold circuit. It is suitable for use in battery-powered equipment, data acquisitions, instrumentation, medical instruments and process controls applications.
- 16bit resolution with no missing codes
- Total harmonic distortion: −106dB at 20KHz, 500KSPS throughput
- 92dB signal-to-(noise + distortion) at fIN = 20KHz, VREF = 5V
- Power dissipation: 3.75µW/3.75mW at VDD = 5V, 100SPS/100KSPS throughput
- Pseudo differential analogue input range 0V to VREF with VREF up to VDD
- No pipeline delay, daisy-chain multiple ADCs and busy indicator
- Single-supply 5V operation with 1.8V/2.5V/3V/5V logic interface
- Proprietary serial interface: SPI-/QSPI™-/MICROWIRE™-/DSP compatible
- 10-lead MSOP package, ±3LSB max integral nonlinearity error
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
