Product Overview
LTC1453 is complete single supply, rail-to-rail voltage output 12bit digital-to-analogue converter. It includes an output buffer amplifier and an easy-to-use 3-wire cascadable serial interface. The LTC1453 has an on-board 1.22V reference and a fullscale output of 2.5V. It operates from a single supply of 2.7V to 5.5V. The low power supply current makes this device ideal for battery-powered applications. Applications include digital calibration, industrial process control, automatic test equipment and cellular telephones.
- 12bit resolution, buffered true rail-to-rail voltage output
- 3V operation, ICC: 250µA typically
- Built-in reference of 1.220V
- Power-on reset, 3-wire cascadable serial interface
- Maximum DNL error of 0.5LSB, maximum integral nonlinearity of ±3.5LSB at TA = 25°C
- Schmitt trigger on clock input allows direct optocoupler interface
- Offset error of ±12mV maximum at TA = 25°C
- Supply current of 250µA at 2.7V ≤ VCC ≤ 5.5V
- 8-lead plastic SO package, –40°C to 85°C operating temperature range
