Product Overview
The MAX5304EUA+ is a 10bit voltage-output digital to analogue converter (DAC) in 8 pin µMAX package. The DAC is an inverted R-2R ladder network that converts a digital input (10 data bits plus 3 sub-bits) into an equivalent analogue output voltage in proportion to the applied reference voltage. It is easily addressed using simple 3-wire serial interface, it includes a 16bit shift register, double buffered input composed of an input register and a DAC register. In addition to the voltage output, the amplifier’s negative input is available to the user allowing specific gain configurations, remote sensing and high output current capability. It is used in digital offset and gain adjustment, microprocessor-controlled systems and remote industrial control.

- Start-up time of 20μs & SINAD of 77dB at VREF = 1Vp-p at 25KHz, code = full scale
