Product Information
Product Overview
The MAX16013TT+T is an ultra small, overvoltage protection/detection circuit in 6 pin TDFN package. This circuit is used in high-voltage, high-transient systems such as those found in telecom and industrial applications. This device operates over a wide supply voltage range, making them also suitable for other applications such as battery stacks, notebook computers and servers. The MAX16013 is an overvoltage protection circuit that are capable of driving two p-channel MOSFETs to prevent reverse-battery and overvoltage conditions. One MOSFET (P1) eliminates the need for external diodes, thus minimizing the input voltage drop. The second MOSFET (P2) isolates the load or regulates the output voltage during an overvoltage condition. Typical applications include 48Vtelecom/server/networking, firewire, notebook computers and multicell battery-stack powered equipment.
- Supply voltage range is 5.5V to 72V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Input supply current is 20µA at VCC = 12V
- VCC undervoltage lockout of 5V
