Product Overview
The NCV8720BMTW110TBG from On Semiconductor is a 350mA very low dropout bias rail CMOS voltage regulator in 6 pin WDFN package. This VLDO equipped with NMOS pass transistor and a separate bias supply voltage (VBIAS). It provides very stable, accurate output voltage with low noise suitable for space constrained, noise sensitive applications. In order to optimize performance for battery operated applications the NCV8720 features low IQ consumption. It is used in automotive, consumer and industrial equipment point of load regulation, battery powered equipment, FPGA, DSP and logic power supplies, Switching power supply post regulation, cameras, DVRs, STB and camcorders.
- Operating input voltage range from 1.21V to 5.5V, bias voltage range from 2.4V to 5.5V
- Fixed output voltage is 1.1V
- Automotive AEC-Q100 qualified
- Very low quiescent current of 80µA (typ)
- 0.5µA (typ) very low bias input current in disable mode
- Low dropout of 110mV typical at 350mA, ±2% accuracy over temperature
- Built-in soft start with monotonic VOUT rise
- Low noise, high PSRR
- Stable with a 2.2µF ceramic output capacitor, wettable flank
- Operating Temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
