DC115A-B is a demonstration circuit for LTC1451 5V powered 12-bit rail-To-rail D/A converter. The LTC1451 draws 2mW monotonic over the industrial temperature range, with differential nonlinearity guaranteed to be less than 0.5LSB. The low power supply current and small size makes these circuits ideal for portable battery-powered applications. In addition, these circuits are also used for digital calibration, industrial process control and ATE. The LTC1451 demonstration board allows the user to evaluate the LTC1451 12-bit rail-to-rail D/A converters. In addition, the LTC1451 demonstration board is intended to demonstrate layout and bypassing techniques required to obtain optimum performance from these parts. The demonstration board is designed to be easy to use and requires only one 7V to 15V supply. Since these DAC has a 3-pin serial interface, the board includes parallel-to-serial conversion circuitry.
