Product Overview
AD9739A is a 14bit, 2.5GSPS high performance RF DAC that are capable of synthesizing wideband signals from dc up to 3GHz. It is a pin and functionally compatible with the AD9739 with the exception that do not support synchronization or RZ mode, and are specified to operate between 1.6GSPS and 2.5GSPS. By elimination of the synchronization circuitry, some nonideal artifacts such as images and discrete clock spurs remain stationary on the between power-up cycles, thus allowing for possible system calibration. The inclusion of on-chip controllers simplifies system integration. A dual-port, source synchronous, LVDS interface simplifies the digital interface with existing FGPA/ASIC technology. Application includes broadband communications systems, DOCSIS CMTS systems, military jammers, instrumentation, automatic test equipment, radar, avionics.

- Dual-port LVDS data interface, up to 1.25 GSPS operation
- Source synchronous DDR clocking
- Programmable output current range from 8.7mA to 31.7mA
- Resolution is 14bits (typ, VDDA = VDD33 = 3.3V, VDDC = VDD = 1.8V)
- Integral nonlinearity (INL) is ±2.5LSB (typ, VDDA = VDD33 = 3.3V)
- Differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±2.0LSB (typ, VDDA = VDD33 = 3.3V)
- 160-ball CSP-BGA package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
