Product Overview
DC2038A-N demonstration circuit shows the LTC®4162 multicell step-down battery charger with PowerPath™ and I2C telemetry operating with a configurable chemistry and cell count. The DC2038A is populated with one of many different IC options for the LTC4162, each suited to a specific chemistry, battery voltage, and default MPPT enabled state. The DC2038A can be easily configured for a specific use case by moving jumpers to set the number of cells that will be used in the application. The VIN voltage must then be appropriate for the cell count and chemistry selected.
