Product Overview
HMC506LP4E is a GaAs InGaP heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) MMIC VCO with integrated resonators, negative resistance devices, varactor diodes, and buffer amplifier. Typical application includes low noise MMIC VCO w/Half Frequency, for VSAT radio, point to point/multi-point radio, test equipment and industrial controls, military end-use.
- No external resonator needed
- Frequency range from 7.8 to 8.7GHz (TA = +25°C, Vcc = +3V)
- Power output is 14.0dBm (min, RFOUT, TA = +25° C, Vcc = +5V)
- SSB phase noise at 100KHz offset, Vtune= +5V at RF output is -103dBc/Hz (typ)
- Tune voltage (Vtune) range from 1 to 11V (TA = +25° C, Vcc = +5V)
- Supply current (Icc) (Vcc = +3.0V) is 77mA (typ, TA = +25° C, Vcc = +3V)
- Tune port leakage current is 10μA (max, TA = +25°C, Vcc = +3V)
- Output return loss is 7dB (typ, TA = +25°C, Vcc = +5V)
