Product Overview
LTC1452CN8#PBF is a complete single supply, rail-to-rail voltage output 12bit digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). It includes an output buffer amplifier and an easy-to-use 3-wire cascadable serial interface. It is a multiplying DAC with a full-scale output of twice the reference input voltage. It operates from a single supply of 2.7V to 5.5V. Applications include digital calibration, industrial process control, automatic test equipment, and cellular telephones.
- 12bit resolution, buffered true rail-to-rail voltage output
- Power-on reset, 3-wire cascadable serial interface
- Schmitt trigger on clock input allows direct optocoupler interface
- Integral nonlinearity is ±3.5LSB maximum at (TA = 25°C)
- Offset error is ±12mV maximum at (TA = 25°C)
- Supply current is 225µA typical at (2.7V ≤ VCC ≤ 5.5V)
- Short-circuit current is 80mA maximum at (TA = 25°C)
- Signal-to-noise + distortion is 85dB typical at ( REF = 1KHz, 2VP-P, TA = 25°C)
- Offset error temperature coefficient is ±15µV/°C typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C, 8-lead PDIP package
