Product Overview
LTC®6430-20 is a differential gain block amplifier designed to drive high resolution, high speed ADC with excellent linearity beyond 1000MHz and with low associated output noise. It operates from a single 5V power supply and consumes only 850mW. In its differential configuration, it can directly drive the differential inputs of an ADC. Using 1:2 baluns, the device makes an excellent 50 ohm wideband balanced amplifier. It designed for ease of use, requiring a minimum of support components. The device is internally matched to 100 ohm differential source/load impedance. On chip bias and temperature compensation ensure consistent performance over environmental changes. Application includes differential ADC driver, differential IF amplifier, OFDM signal chain amplifier, 50 ohm balanced IF amplifier, 75 ohm CATV amplifier, 700MHz to 800MHz LTE amplifier, low phase noise clock or LO amplifier.

- Typical forward differential power gain is 20.8dB (100MHz to 400MHz, TA=25°C, VCC=5V)
- Typical reverse differential isolation is -23dB (25MHz to 4000MHz, TA=25°C, VCC=5V)
- Typical differential output match is -10dB (25MHz to 1400MHz, TA=25°C, VCC=5V)
- Typical differential power gain is 21.1dB (De-embedded to package, frequency=50MHz)
- Typical output 1dB compression point is 23.0dBm (frequency=50MHz, TA=25°C, VCC=5V)
- Typical noise figure is 2.9dB (frequency=50MHz, TA=25°C, VCC=5V)
- 24-lead plastic QFN package, operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
