Product Overview
TMP36GSZ-REEL is a low-voltage temperature sensor. It provides a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the celsius (centigrade) temperature. The low output impedance of the device and its linear output and precise calibration simplify interfacing to temperature control circuitry and ADCs. This device is intended for single-supply operation from 2.7V to 5.5V maximum. The supply current runs well below 50µA, providing very low self-heating less than 0.1°C in still air. In addition, a shutdown function is provided to cut the supply current to less than 0.5µA. It is used in applications such as environmental control systems, thermal protection, industrial process control, fire alarms, power system monitors, CPU thermal management.

- Accuracy is ±2°C typical at (VS = 2.7V to 5.5V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 30m°C/V typical at (VS = 2.7V to 5.5V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
- Long-term stability is 0.4°C typical at (TA = 150°C for 1000 hours)
- 750mV typical output voltage at (TA = 25°C)
