Product Overview
IRPP3624-12A is a POWIR+ chipset reference design board which features the IR3624MPBF synchronous buck PWM controller and IRF7823, IRF7832Z MOSFET. This board is targeted at, low power synchronous buck applications up to 12A output current. IRPP3624-12A drives a pair of external N MOSFETs using a fixed 600kHz switching frequency allowing the use of small external components. Error signal between feedback pin and internal reference voltage is compared to a fixed frequency linear sawtooth ramp and generates fixed frequency pulses of variable duty cycle which drivers N channel external MOSFETs. The timing is controlled by an internal oscillator circuit that uses on chip capacitor to set the switching frequency.
