Product Overview
MCP4131-103E/SN is a 7bit, single SPI digital potentiometer with volatile memory. It offers a wide range of product offerings using an SPI interface.
- 10Kohm resistance version, SPI control interface, RAM memory type
- Mid-scale POR wiper setting, 75ohm wiper- RW resistance (typical)
- 129 number of steps, VDD operating range from 1.8V to 5.5V
- Zero scale to full-scale wiper operation, internal weak pull-up on all digital inputs
- Ratiometric (potentiometer) is 15ppm typical (low tempco)
- SPI serial interface (10MHz, modes 0,0 and 1,1), high-speed read/writes to wiper registers
- Resistor network terminal disconnect feature via : shutdown pin (SHDN, active low), TCON register
- Brown-out reset protection, serial interface inactive current
- High-voltage tolerant digital inputs, supports split rail applications
- 8 pin SOIC package, extended operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C
