Product Overview
N24C16UVTG is a 16Kb I²C CMOS serial EEPROM device. It supports the fast−plus (1MHz) I²C protocol. Data is written by providing a starting address, then loading 1 to 16 contiguous bytes into a page write buffer, and then writing all data to non−volatile memory in one internal write cycle. Data is read by providing a starting address and then shifting out data serially while automatically incrementing the internal address count. External address pins make it possible to address one N24C16 device on the same bus.
- Automotive AEC-Q100 Grade 1 (-40°C to +125°C) qualified
- Supports standard, fast and fast plus I²C protocol
- Supply voltage range from 1.7V / 1.6V to 5.5V
- Write cycle time is 4ms max (fast−plus, VCC=1.8 to 5.5V, TA=-40 to +125°C)
- Hardware write protection for entire memory
- Schmitt triggers and noise suppression filters on I²C bus inputs (SCL and SDA)
- Low power CMOS technology, endurance is 1,000,000 write cycles min
- Minimum data retention is 100 years
- Standby current is 2µA max (TA=-40°C to +125°C)
- US−8 package, temperature range from -40 to +125°C(automotive grade 1)
