STM32MP215CAO3 is an Arm®-based microprocessor featuring a heterogeneous dual-core architecture that combines a 64-bit Cortex®-A35 core running at up to 1.2GHz with a Cortex®-M33 core operating at up to 300MHz. This architecture enables high-level operating systems to run on the Cortex-A35 while delivering deterministic real-time performance through the Cortex-M33. The device supports external memories up to 4 GB, including DDR3L, DDR4, and LPDDR4 via a 16-bit SDRAM interface, and integrates 456KB of internal SRAM with ECC for enhanced reliability. It incorporates multi-layer AXI and AHB interconnects with up to 98 secure GPIOs featuring interrupt capability. Advanced security functions include Arm® TrustZone® technology, secure boot, hardware cryptographic accelerators, tamper detection, and comprehensive resource isolation. Multimedia capabilities include an LCD-TFT controller supporting 24-bit RGB displays up to 1920 × 1080 resolution and camera interfaces such as MIPI CSI-2.
